Benson Mines in Saint Lawrence County is seeking buyers for our high grade granite and other aggregates. We are a ready supplier to the market with approximately 60 million tons of stockpiled basalt trap rock. The aggregates have been approved for DOT use and are being processed on site by Paul Mitchell of Mitchell Stone Products. Mitchell has processed product of various sizes from breakwater stone to high friction fine aggregate, from 3/8 to 1-1/2 inches. We have a rail service that came to our processing site in the summer of 2017 which has enabled us to reach western and southern New York metropolitan markets.
